Many of these shells arrive on the beach intact and in perfect condition, some with the animals inside still very much alive, and some that have been abandoned and ready for your collection.
One of Englewood Beach’s biggest attractions happens every Labor Day weekend, when Englewood residents commemorate the pioneers who founded the area in 1896. There are golf and fishing tournaments as well as boat races and a parade. Seafood festivals, Fourth of July fireworks and art shows also come through the area every year, giving this community a variety of fun activities for the whole family.
